Let's start with yesterday, shall we?? I was supposed to go vote for a tax that would keep the Detroit Zoo open. The kids were so HORRIBLY bad that if this tax doesn't go through, it will be my fault. THEN I get the bright idea to do Jackie Warner's workout (sorry I don't feel like getting a link...google it)I did the lower body workout(let's face it, I have a big ass). Today I can barely move and my kids are back at their old tricks. I have a ton of pics on my computer but this new monitor is kinda wonk. So here's a pic. Please let me know if it's too dark or just too wonky for you.

On another note I am looking for a family photographer. The last time we had family pics taken was when mr. the man was 6 months old. Yes, terrible, I know...disgraceful even.

First off, it takes forever to even do a simple task. Secondly, my cd burner is gone as in died as in kicked the bucket as in sleepin with the fishes, and I have a lot of stuff to back up. Thankfully I am almost done doing just that.

My daughter loves a good worm too just like Reese...so I wanted to make sure when ya'll were sitting down to your morning coffee you got a really good look at juicy delicious worm!! Mmmmmm!!! El took this at her birthday party last Saturday. Yes I let El play with the camera...secretly hoping she'll drop it and it'll break and therefore opps sorry honey gotta go buy another camera. It's finally settling down some. Saturday we had the Brain cancer 5k. Sunday was Mothers Day (Happy mothers day BTW) today I have a court appointment. Seriously...I am leaving it at that. On a happier note I have a TON of pics to post and the Wings are winning. When I say winning I mean kicking the living crap out of the Stars.

I'm sorry for the lack of posts this week. I have been in a crabby funk. Why so crabby, you ask? A million reasons..my son is going through this horrible whiny phase where the only thing I can do is threaten to get rid of him. That worked the first time and the first time only. I miss my friend, John. We used to talk and text all the time but now we don't so I miss him. On a happier note, it's my ex-boyfriend's birthday today. I hope he chokes on the roll of quarters he has to do laundry with. :)

On a much much happier note (and not the sarcastic kind either)THE WINGS WON! I truly hate the avalanche the only player on that whole team with any class is Joe Sakic. He's hot too. Since I will never sink low enough to admit to any of my real life friends that I have the hots for Joe Sakic, I will leave you with my hockey husband...Zetterburg BTW I divorced Kirk Maltby...I still love him but I am moving on to a younger man

A long time ago, after I bought my first bottle of Method cucumber scented all purpose cleaner, I signed up to be a Method advocate. They sent coupons and a cool t-shirt and since then they have sent me so many goodies. Their stuff is non toxic (when mr. the man was about 2 he got into my cleaning stash and sprayed himself right in the eyes with one of their cleaners...didn't even phase him. If it had been clorox God only knows what would've happened) it cleans great and it smells amazing.
Over the weekend they sent me their newest goodie. This book.
We try to do organic whenever we can and I stay away from a lot of the chemical cleaners. This has opened my eyes to some of the things I didn't even know was in our everyday stuff...like our sheets! I'm absolutely grossed out by the things that the government thinks are ok to put in our food and everyday products. So needless to say I am going to be doing some shopping very very soon.

Today I have an appointment with the eye dr. I believe it was Shell over at Adventures in Atlanta who had posted about tearing her last contact lens. If it was her I blame her if not...so sorry. The other morning I was putting my contacts in and I noticed that one was torn. SO I had to put in my very last pair while screaming "ASS NUGGET"! Which caused my husband to look at me as if I just told him we were pregnant...again.
I am so full of good ideas today. I'm thinking of starting a gang. I don't know what we will stand for but I can promise you the name will contain the words "skanks and bitches" (yes this is the terrible mood I am in today)
I asked my husband to make me breakfast. He brought me 1/2 of a piece of toast. WTH? again this is why I need the gang. I would make the call and he'd be forced to straighten out. Cuz that's how we roll.

Yes this is what my house looks like right now. At this minute my children (one--HOLY CRAP GIANT SPIDER JUST TRIED TO KILL ME!...now where was I?? Oh ok one kid is at school, one refuses to wear clothing and the other is a 3 1/2 year old boy...need I say more?) are running from corner to corner. I am waiting for the giant thud followed by the scream.

A few years ago when Mr. The Man was about 8-9 months old and Drama was 3ish I took the kids to a local photographer. I spent a lot of money only to realize that the pics were sub-par. The majority really weren't in focus and the kids just had "dead eyes"
So I figured I could do a much better job with my canon powershot and a much better job I did. Since then I have developed a passion for taking pics...I believe my background in scrapbooking allows me to see details that make amazing memories out of everyday little things. This doesn't make me a pro by far. I still have a lot to learn.
My whole point is just because you can afford the $5,000 camera and the fancy studio doesn't make you a photographer. What makes someone good and a true photographer is knowledge, the eye, and the ability and need to pass on what you know. (When I questioned her about her camera, at the time I was doing a little research, she refused to tell me saying "someone like you doesn't need to bother with this")
I am not trying to bash this other photographer because I am not about that but I am bothered you can charge $100/session when your pictures look like something my grandmother took at a family reunion.
My whole point is ask away. Any questions feel free to ask me. I may not know a ton because I am still learning, but I will share any and all info I have with you. (can you tell I am irked this chick is still in business?)

So last night I had to take apart the computer and temporarily move it. 24 hours without a computer is really difficult but I did it. I hooked it all back up and Leah(my sweet sugar dumplin') had sent me an email letting me know I had a present. THANK YOU SO MUCH Kimmy! You said such nice things that I had to show my husband. On another note I hate my Mother in law. She is due to move out of state this weekend (we were told it would be last weekend) Due to her threats of death and threats to kidnap the above mentioned son, she is no longer allowed around my kids yet she is calling the house and hanging up and calling friends and family and attempting to get them to call us and stick up for her. Yeah well as you can see it's not working. Who wants to come help me fashion a gigantic sling shot so we can fling her mentally instable ass to Japan???

These are from the same group as yesterdays post. I hate my kit lens. I really really do but I was way too lazy to put old reliable back on so 75% of my pics are fuzzy (from movement) because the lens is too slow to keep up.

It's not very often that I get out with only one child. When I do it's like freedom. I sound lame, I know, but seriously it is. I took Drama to school (who has been sneaking and buying her lunch even though I already packed her a nutritious yet boring alternative. More on her later)then I decided Stinky needed some new onesies. (funny story, when you over bleach your stuff falls apart...who knew?!) Well never found onesies but I did discover these amazing shoes. (on clearance I need to add because my husband is standing behind me) Needless to say she had to have them (she's my last girl cut me some slack) Then, in true Stinkerbelle fashion, she decided to jump in the mud.

Did I mention that it's 60 degrees today?

Well I am SOOOOO glad the holidays are over. There was just way too much going on. So hopefully things slow down a bit. Last night we got about 5 inches of snow and they are saying we are supposed to get 5 more. Yeah doubt that but the kids LOVE it
Looking south....if you look north you will see the drug dealers (note: There really isn't any proof they are drug dealers except the midnight raids and strange cars in and out at all hours OH and let's not forget the random break ins around the neighborhood. Those are my favorite) house and I didn't want to post that...This is a family blog darn it!

I absolutely love this picture. At one point she was running but I think she realized that it's a lot easier to just flop and try to crawl away.
